HOW TO HAVE THE BEST YEAR IN 2020?

There will always be hundreds of advice on how to stick to your goals and how to have a great year. I boiled it down to one. The one that is the most important to me. Keep reading to find out what it is.

I have been thinking about what is the one thing I would like to share with you for the New Year. The thing is, there are things I do every day, things that make my life better, but this changes for everyone. I can share it, and I will, but I wanted to give you some valuable advice that will change everything if you do it.

‘BE YOU’ IN THE NEW YEAR!

We all get stuck in what we’re expected, what the majority around us does. From how to live life to what colour we should be dressing in.

I absolutely love getting inspiration from others, but the major learning from 2019 for me is that it doesn’t matter if I wear the correct clothes according to trendsetters, if I have the latest iPhone or if I eat avocados.

We all have our own lives and every single choice we make is OUR OWN choice.

I am absolutely nowhere near where I’d like to be, but in 2019 I have gone a long way from where I used to be. Oh gosh, even with the few little steps I made this year, I feel so much happier and more fulfilled with life and business.

This task is simple but not easy! It takes a lot of self-awareness, grace, and gratitude. It’s not going to change when you wake up tomorrow. I just want you to start doing little steps towards letting go of doing life the way someone else told you.

PRIORITIES TO LIVE A HAPPY LIFE

I was listening to Rise podcast by Rachel Hollis. It was an interview with Trent Shelton and one thing that stuck with me in this episode was the advice on how to set up priorities in your life.

How easy is to put other people first and forget about yourself. You get stuck in the same circle and a few years later, you realise that you’re exhausted doing everything just to please others.

Take a pen and paper and write down the things that make you THE HAPPIEST. How about laughing with your kids, swimming in the ocean, helping others to be healthy…

Once you write those down, THOSE are your priorities. They are the things you should do first before everything else. Those are the things that should show in your calendar on a regular basis!

If you want to go even further, you can put the priorities in order. Start at the top of the list and ask if this is more important to you than the next item. And go down the list the same way.

I hope you have the happiest New Year.

If there is one thing you’ve learnt in 2019 and would like to share with others, what would it be?

With Love
