We often rely on holidays and big chunks of time off to get rest. It means that by the time we get to our time off, we are absolutely exhausted. Why don’t we instead include mini adventures, or ‘shorties’ into our everyday lives? What about taking a detour on the way to work to explore an area you have not been to yet, going for an hour cycle in the afternoon, or taking a day trip somewhere new on your day off? By implementing activities little and often we keep our energy up all the time rather than working on full until we run out.
